  • Role Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Manager to oversee client relationships, drive business growth, and ensure the smooth execution of advertising campaigns. The Business Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, financial planning, operational efficiency, and team coordination to ensure high-quality service delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of advertising, marketing trends, and business management principles.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    1. Business Development & Client Management

    • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to identify growth opportunities and upsell agency services.

    • Lead client pitches and proposals, collaborating with creative and strategy teams.

    • Analyze market trends and client needs to recommend innovative advertising solutions.

     

    2. Financial Planning & Budget Management

    • Oversee project budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.

    • Work closely with the finance team to forecast revenue, manage client billing, and track expenses.

    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients and vendors.

    • Ensure proper financial documentation and invoicing for all projects.

     

    3. Operational & Team Management

    • Collaborate with creative, media, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.

    • Manage timelines, deliverables, and workflow efficiency for multiple campaigns.

    • Ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

    • Resolve operational bottlenecks and facilitate smooth cross-team coordination.

     

    4. Strategy & Performance Analysis

    • Develop business strategies to enhance agency growth and competitiveness.

    • Monitor campaign performance and client satisfaction metrics.

    • Provide data-driven recommendations for improving campaign effectiveness.

    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies.

     

    5. Internal Process Improvement

    • Establish and refine internal workflows to improve agency efficiency.

    • Implement best practices in client servicing and project management.

    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and agency policies.

    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

     

    Key Qualifications & Skills:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

    • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role within an advertising, digital marketing, or media agency.

    • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of advertising, branding, digital marketing, and media planning.

    • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and drive results.

    • Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client trust.

    • Financial Acumen: Experience with budget management, financial forecasting, and contract negotiation.

    • Problem-solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.

    • Analytical Thinking: Strong data analysis and strategic decision-making skills.

    • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and CRM software.
